| All roads have been constructed and the main road connecting the North Gate to the South Gate has been tarred. All roads will be tarred as soon as the major building works have been completed and no heavy trucks will then be allowed on them.
The Estate is completely enclosed by an alarmed and electrified fence. This relays any security breach on the fence to our control room which can then pin point the breach.
All gate houses have been built and are operational.
All bridges have been constructed and four dams have been built, which in addition to adding interest to the golf course, are a major attraction to new bird species. The list of water birds seen include, Yellowbilled ducks, Whitefaced ducks, Redbilled teal, Egyptian geese, Moorhens, Black crake, Little bittern, Grey & Blackheaded herons, Greenbacked heron, Hamerkop, Malachite, Pied, Pygmy and Brownhooded kingfishers. None of these were regular visitors previously, now several of them are breeding here.
A board walk has been constructed on the 8th hole, it goes about 100 metres from the tee to green through the canopy of the forest. Golf carts can drive over this, making it quite unique in Africa.
80% of all services, such as electricity, water and sewerage have been installed on the estate. All home owners are part of the estate's telephone network and internal calls are free although the Home Owners' Assocation will charge residents for external calls.
All common land has been transferred to the Home Owners' Association. This, in effect, means that a home owner not only owns his plot and house but also owns a share in the golf course, country clubhouse, tennis clubhouse and courts, squash courtsforests, boardwalk, roads, bridges and forests.
The replacement of all these assets is in excess of ZAR 40 million!
